Juan J. Spencer
Mr. Spencer went on to expand his expertise at Kuvara Law Firm, where under the supervision and mentorship of skilled counsel Neal Kuvara – he facilitated the Kuvara Law Firm’s prevailing record in personal injury matters at both the pre-litigation and litigation stages and honed his marketing and organization management skills in doing so.
In 2003, Mr. Spencer returned to Ratto Law Firm, where he rose to serve as a Chief Operating Officer and directed firm operations including human resources, payroll, and marketing. In growing the Ratto Law Firm for twenty-five years alongside Founding Attorney Anthony G. Ratto, Mr. Spencer took great pride in developing relationships with many skilled and successful attorneys and medical professionals throughout California.
Today, Mr. Spencer has reunited with his former colleagues at The Comp Firm, P.C., upon its launch as a newly established workers’ compensation law firm serving Northern California. As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, he oversees the firm’s operational strategy and marketing in working with the firm’s legal management.

Mr. Spencer remains deeply committed to supporting injured workers and strengthening the Northern California legal community. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
In 2025, Mr. Spencer founded Spencer One, LLC, a consulting and marketing firm specializing in operational and strategic support for workers’ compensation and personal injury law practices. Drawing on his unique perspective as both a former injured worker and a seasoned legal executive, he provides law firms with tailored strategies to enhance efficiency, expand their reach, and deliver greater value to their clients.
